Group wants to put apple orchard, cider mill on Detroit’s east side

Detroit may someday see an apple orchard and cider mill on the city’s east side.

Wolverine Human Services, a nonprofit that offers food, shelter and other services to youths, is raising funds and looking acquire land to launch Core Orchards Detroit.
